Since the accident on Friday Rosie was a bit discombobulated with bodily functions. As of last night everything is functioning properly. It is amazing how we celebrate small things in times of crisis. We are grateful and feeling blessed with the smallest of victories.
Brianna and Preston were here to visit yesterday and that helps keep her spirits up. They are always a source of joy and normalcy.
For now we are on regular meds for pain and things like blood thinner due to some damaged blood vessels and surgery prep. We are expecting feedback today from the neurosurgical team regarding the path forward.
Rosie is in good spirits and I remind her regularly that her job is to be focused on Rosie. I will fight the wars beyond that and we will all share the job as prayer warriors, supporters, and well wishers for her.
She loves all of you and is constantly reminding me to be certain I update this or that person. People are a priority for her. Even in her own crisis.
